Lapland compared

How we write a comparison
Each page is a table with the same kinds of rows: what each place or kind of trip is, getting there, darkness, snow, crowds, the price band, what there is to do when the weather cancels a tour, and who each one is not for. Then a section on when the answer flips, because most of these decisions turn on one thing: the month, the party, or whether you ski.
No comparison here names a winner overall. Where a figure could not be confirmed from a primary source, the page says so instead of filling the gap, and where two places are genuinely close, it says that too.
