We are an independent trip-planning service for Lapland. We do not own hotels, run tours or sell inventory, which is why we can tell you that a week is wrong for what you want, that a place is not worth the detour, or that you do not need us for this trip.

What we do
We write down what each destination, month and experience in Lapland is really like: the cold, the short days, the crowds, the cost, and the real chances of seeing the Northern Lights. Then, if you ask, a planner builds the trip that fits your dates, your people and your budget.
What is not for sale
Recommendations are not for sale. Nobody can pay for a place on a page, a better description or a higher position. If a placement is ever paid for, it is labelled sponsored where you see it.
How we are paid
Planning is free to you. We do not charge for a trip plan, and nothing is booked or paid for on this site. How the service itself is paid for is still being settled, and this page will say exactly how, in plain words, before anyone can book through us. Until then, nothing we recommend depends on it.
What we refuse to say
- That you will see the Northern Lights. Nobody can know that in advance.
- That an activity carries no risk, or that an operator treats its animals well. We give you the questions to ask instead.
- Anything we could not confirm. We say that we could not confirm it, and what we would ask.
When we are wrong
Tell us, and we correct the page and put the date of the change on it. How we check facts is set out in our editorial policy.
